Tottenham could look to bring Liverpool star Curtis Jones to North London.
Thomas Frank is keen on reinforcing his squad in the January transfer window after a dismal start to life at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Conor Gallagher has been confirmed as a Tottenham player, but there may still be space for another quality midfielder in the squad.
Whether Liverpool will want to sell a homegrown talent remains to be seen, but his contract situation may force their hand.
Will Tottenham sign Curtis Jones this month?
John Wenham has heard that Spurs are interested in Jones, but thinks the fact that they are signing Gallagher rules out the chances of a deal in this window.

Speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, he said: “Interesting one that I heard about, I heard that Tottenham may look for Curtis Jones.
“I don’t know if he is available, or how much he is playing this season, but we are looking for a midfielder that can create.
“I don’t think so [it will happen after Gallagher], but it may be one they revisit in the summer as he’ll only have 12 months left on Liverpool deal.”
What would Jones bring to Tottenham?
Jones has a wealth of Premier League experience, with 137 appearances in the competition.
He also has significant gametime in the Champions League, playing 24 matches in that tournament, the level which Spurs are trying to reach consistently.
He has notched 19 goals and 22 assists in 205 appearances for the Reds, but his role has been a deeper one under both Jurgen Klopp and Arne Slot, so the attacking impetus that he showed in the academy has been neutralised.
He could potentially operate further up the pitch for the Lilywhites, which would surely see those numbers increase, and his true flair released.
He would also probably see more action than he does at Anfield, as Spurs’ options are not the same quality as his current rivals for the position.
The Merseysiders would likely drive a hard bargain and be reluctant to lose the six-time England international, but with a year left on his deal in the summer, they may decide to cash in.
