Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on the Brentford defender Nathan Collins.

It will be interesting to see if they decide to make a move for the 24-year-old in the remaining days of the window. Thomas Frank knows the player well, and he is keen on a reunion. According to Graeme Bailey, Arsenal and Liverpool are keen on the player as well.

The defender is a key player for Brentford, and he has been handed the captain’s armband. They will not want to lose him anytime soon. They have already lost a couple of quality players this summer, and they could lose Yoane Wissa as well.

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham come forward with a lucrative proposal to get the deal done. They will hope to test the resolve of the Premier League club. They need defensive quality, and Collins would be an excellent addition.

Spurs could use Nathan Collins

Bailey told TBR Football: “There is major interest in Collins, he has improved every season he has been in the Premier League, and I am told that the likes of Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool are all major admirers.

“Collins has just been handed the captain’s armband at Brentford, but I am told his situation is one to keep an eye on in the final week.”

Liverpool also keen on Collins

Meanwhile, Liverpool are interested in the player as well. They have looked vulnerable at the back, and they are keeping tabs on the Crystal Palace star Marc Guehi as well. It will be interesting to see if Liverpool can beat Tottenham to his signature.

Convincing Brentford to sell the player this summer will be a massive challenge for any club. It seems unlikely that Collins will force an exit, especially given his new role as the captain of the club.

There is no doubt that he has the quality to play for the biggest clubs in the country, and he would improve the likes of Tottenham immensely.
