A midfielder Tottenham Hotspur have spoken to is ready for a transfer in January, but the Lilywhites face plenty of competition for his signature.
It has been widely reported that Thomas Frank wants Spurs to prioritise signing players with Premier League experience in January.
A 28-year-old, who has plenty of success in the English top-flight in the past, is thought to be among the names on the Lilywhites’ wishlist.
It emerged last month that Tottenham are keen on bringing Ruben Neves back to the Premier League, two and a half years after he swapped Wolves for Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal.
Al-Hilal are ready to sell Tottenham target Ruben Neves
A new report in TEAMtalk has now revealed that Al-Hilal have made up their mind to sell the experienced midfielder back to Europe in January.
Neves’ current deal at the club runs out in 2026, and the club have been unable to convince him to put pen to paper on a new contract.
January could thus be the final window where Al-Hilal can get a fee for him, and they have decided to cash in on the Portuguese star.
