Tottenham Hotspur are set to lose another top figure from the club's hierarchy

Tottenham Hotspur are braced for another high-profile departure from their off-field operation, with the club's chief revenue officer making the switch to MotoGP.

Ryan Norys joined the north London outfit following spells with Serie A outfit Roma and Major League Baseball's Los Angeles Dodgers, but is set to leave after four years.

Norys will take up the role of chief commercial officer at the motorbike championship. It is understood he has a considerable notice period to fulfil prior to completing his move.

His exit forms part of a string of prominent departures from the club, with none more significant than co-owner and former executive chairman Daniel Levy, who spent 25 years at Spurs before his sudden departure 12 months ago, reports CityAM.

Former executive director Donna-Maria Cullen stepped down after three decades in north London, while chief football officer Scott Munn also left following an organisational restructure.

"MotoGP Sports Entertainment Group has confirmed that I’ll be joining as Chief Commercial Officer, leading the global commercial business across partnerships, sponsorship, licensing, hospitality, marketing and digital," Norys wrote on LinkedIn.

"I’m joining a leadership team taking shape under Carmelo and Carlos Ezpeleta González. Denitza Batchvarova, Sameer Pabari and Louise Young announced today alongside me, and I couldn’t ask for a stronger group to work alongside as we look to unlock the next chapter of growth for MotoGP.

"Until then, my focus remains firmly on Tottenham Hotspur, so the proper thank-yous can wait.

"I am incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved together. Commercial revenue has grown 51 per cent. during my time at the Club an achievement that belongs to the talented people I’ve had the privilege of working alongside, both past and present.

"I’ll have plenty more to say about them, and what Tottenham has meant to me, when the time comes."

The news arrives at a particularly testing time commercially for Spurs, with front-of-shirt sponsor AIA transitioning to a training kit partnership at the conclusion of the campaign.

South Korean brand Sidiz are reported to have triggered an early termination clause this month.

Norys will join MotoGP, which is now under the ownership of Formula 1's parent company Liberty Media and the four-wheeled motorsport currently runs a karting circuit within the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

His appointment arrives during an extensive recruitment drive since Carlos Ezpeleta assumed the role of deputy chief executive.

Sameer Pabari, previously with the NFL, Warner Bros Discovery and Manchester United, is coming aboard as chief media officer.

Louise Young is transferring from Formula 1 to take up the position of chief operating officer, and Denitza Batchvarova is joining from TKO Group Holdings as chief strategy officer.

MotoGP executives informed City AM earlier this year that the British Grand Prix continues to be a vital component of their growing worldwide schedule.
