Tottenham Hotspur defender Micky van de Ven may have eased the injury concerns of Spurs fans with a new message following international action. The Dutchman appeared to pick up an injury during the Netherlands' Nations League match vs Serbia.
Van de Ven's arm was landed on by opponent Luka Jovic, with the Spurs man going down and holding his hand in pain. He left the pitch with just minutes of the game remaining.
The Spurs captain has now taken to social media to send a message, but hasn't made any mention of an injury. He has shared pictures from the international break on Instagram along with a message reading: "2 weeks we can build on."

Van de Ven has played all of the Netherlands' four games over the international break at left-back. The team drew 1-1 with Germany, beat Serbia 2-1, drew 2-2 with Greece and again beat Serbia 2-1.
He will now return to Spurs, where the club are likely to assess any injury. He will hope to be fit to play in the clash against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Saturday when the Premier League returns.
Giving an update on Van de Ven after the game, Netherland head coach Xavi played down the problem. "He's OK, he felt dizzy because he suffered (an injury) in the finger," he said. "It's not a big injury."
He is not the first Spurs defender to suffer while on international duty with the Netherlands. Earlier in the break, it was confirmed that Jan Paul van Hecke had returned to Spurs after pulling out of an open training session after just seven minutes.
Explainng the withdrawal, Xavi said: "During the match against Serbia, someone stepped on him. He didn't realise it during the match, but afterwards it was impossible for him to play.

"He really wanted to try, but he was in a lot of pain. That is why we decided to take him off the list. He tried to participate in recovery training [on Tuesday]. He tried again today (Wednesday), but he couldn't touch the ball."
