Tottenham have made a slow start to the summer transfer window.

Daniel Levy recently expressed his desire for Tottenham to win the UEFA Champions League and the Premier League. However, after several failed transfers, fans are questioning whether the 63-year-old’s dream can become a lived reality.

Indeed, defensive target Jarrad Branthwaite has signed a contract extension at Everton, while Tottenham will need to hold off signing Antoine Semenyo for now.

However, it looks as though a new transfer is close, and even if this isn’t a player who will lead Tottenham to glory right away, it could be an exciting addition for the future.

MORE SPURS STORIES

According to Lilywhite Rose via X on Monday (30 June), Boast was not present at the scholar signing at Tottenham on Sunday (29 June) as FA paperwork had not yet gone through.

It has been suggested that Boast will come in as Tottenham’s best striker in his age group, and Lilywhite Rose owner John Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – believes the deal could be completed as soon as next week.

“I think that will probably be complete next week,” Wenham said.

“I’m not sure if Tottenham would officially announce the deal because of Boast’s age. It might just be one where he pops up on the website, or Leeds might announce it.

“However, it was a seven-figure fee, so perhaps it will be announced as that is a decent sum of money. From everything I’ve heard about Boast, he’s a phenomenal prospect.”

Tottenham have a clear path ahead

The development and the integration of youth players seems to be Spurs’ transfer policy moving forward.

This has only accelerated after Mikey Moore was introduced into the first team by Ange Postecoglou. Since his debut, the 17-year-old has already lifted the UEFA Europa League.

As a result, the success of Moore will only convince the club to continue developing their young players. While it may take time, Tottenham’s young core will ensure their success for years to come.
