Roberto De Zerbi and Johan Lange have enjoyed an excellent start to the summer transfer window, welcoming lots of Premier League stars to Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham Hotspur have announced the signing of Martin Dubravka on a free transfer from Burnley. The 37-year-old goalkeeper will join the Lilywhites following the expiration of his contract at Turf Moor on July 1, becoming the fourth signing of the summer.

Upon putting pen to paper in north London, Dubravka described Spurs as 'one of the biggest clubs in the Premier League' and expressed his admiration for Roberto De Zerbi. The Slovakian international told club media : "It's an exciting time for me, a new journey and new experience for me and my family.

"I'm looking forward to it. Everything moved pretty quickly, and I'm really happy to be here. I've loved watching Roberto's teams over the years and know all about his style, vision and the fantastic fans here.

"Tottenham Hotspur is one of the biggest clubs in the Premier League, and I can't wait to meet everyone and get started."

Johan Lange, who has also signed Andrew Robertson and Marco Senesi on free transfers from Liverpool and Bournemouth, respectively, as well as Jan Paul van Hecke for £52m from Brighton, explained why he decided to bring Dubravka to Hotspur Way, too.

The Tottenham sporting director said: "We are delighted to welcome Martin to the Club. He is a goalkeeper of proven quality at the highest level, and his character and professionalism will strengthen the squad. Martin brings experience, leadership and consistency, and aligns perfectly with what we are building here."

Meanwhile, singing from the same hymn sheet, De Zerbi said: "I am very happy because Martin is a goalkeeper with big experience and a strong mentality. He has very important qualities for me and will bring balance, leadership and competitiveness to our dressing room."

Guglielmo Vicario suddenly faces an incredibly uncertain future at Tottenham, with Dubravka expected to deputise for Antonin Kinsky. The 29-year-old goalkeeper, who was once part of the dressing room leadership team, continues to be heavily linked with a move away from Spurs.

football.london understands that Vicario has attracted interest from clubs in the Serie A. If he were to leave Tottenham and return to his homeland, it would free up cash for Lange and De Zerbi to reinvest elsewhere in the squad.

The Lilywhites have enjoyed a brilliant start to the summer transfer window, and they're showing no signs of slowing down. It's understood that Spurs have held talks with Newcastle United over a deal for Sandro Tonali, which could cost around £100m.

It's said that Tottenham have also registered an interest in Mateus Fernandes at West Ham and Savinho at Manchester City.
