Tottenham Hotspur have been contacted regarding a move for Randal Kolo Muani this summer.
The 26-year-old French international is expected to be sold by PSG. This summer and Juventus are interested in securing his signature. However, they are hoping to sign him on loan with an option to buy. The French outfit wants £43 million for Kolo Muani.
PSG want to get rid of the player permanently, and they could consider a deal only if there is an obligation to sign the player at the end of the season. The two clubs have not been able to secure an agreement, and intermediaries working on the transfer have reached out to other clubs, including Tottenham, as per TBR Football.
Spurs have been contacted regarding Kolo Muani
Graeme Bailey has revealed: “Kolo Muani’s move to Juventus has stalled. They want him back, but they want a loan with an option. PSG are not keen, and they believe there are other clubs willing to take him on better terms.
“Kolo Muani has enjoyed life in Turin, but we are told that he remains keen on England – he was very close to joining Tottenham in January.
Spurs are one of those contacted again, but so have the likes of Manchester United and Newcastle, both of whom are obviously in the market for new forwards.
“He is suddenly a name who is possibly back on the market, and he is intriguing to these Premier League clubs. He is still seen as a huge talent.”
It will be interesting to see if Tottenham follow up on their interest with an offer to sign the player. They were very keen on him during the January transfer window, and the report from TBR claims that they came very close to signing the player.
Tottenham could use Randal Kolo Muani
They need a versatile attacker like him who can slot in anywhere across the front three. He will create opportunities for his teammates and score goals. Dominic Solanke has not been at his best since joining the club, and he needs more support in the attack.
The French International scored 12 goals in all competitions last season. He managed to pick up four assists along the way as well. His numbers are likely to improve when he is playing in an attacking team. If he manages to regain his form and confidence, he could be an asset for Tottenham.
The 26-year-old is at the peak of his career, and he will look to sort out his future and focus on his football. The opportunity to move to England could be quite exciting. Tottenham have an ambitious project and an exciting team. He might fancy the possibility of playing for next season.
