Thomas Frank will be desperate for a response from his Tottenham team after two disappointing performances.

Spurs were lucky to secure a 2-2 draw with Bodo/Glimt after snatching a point in their last Premier League encounter with Wolves.

Frank’s side travel to Leeds United in their next match, and it has been a fixture packed with controversy.

However, if the Lilywhites can beat Daniel Farke’s men at Elland Road, they will break two records on Saturday.

Tottenham can break Elland Raod record with four goals and a win

Frank will have to make do without Dominic Solanke on Saturday after it was revealed that he has undergone minor surgery on his ankle.

MORE SPURS STORIES

The Dane would surely love to rotate his forwards, but has been unable to do so because of Solanke and Randal Kolo Muani’s injuries.

However, if the North London outfit can find their scoring boots, then they will do something that has never been achieved at Leeds’ home.

The Peacocks have shipped four goals in each of their last two Premier League home games against Spurs.

Furthermore, no side has ever scored four goals in three successive away matches at Elland Road.

Spurs have never won three consecutive games at Elland Road

Tottenham came from behind against Brighton to secure a valuable point in their last Premier League away outing.

While a meeting with a promoted side used to be an enticing one, that is very different this year, given what Leeds, Sunderland, and Burnley have achieved.

Indeed, the Elland Road outfit are yet to lose a game at home and have only shipped two goals, both of which came in their last match against Bournemouth.

However, if the Lilywhites do prevail in Yorkshire, then it will be a third successive win at Leeds’ home, and that is something they have never achieved.

While it feels incredibly unlikely that Frank’s men will score four goals away from home, they have to be eyeing a much-needed win.
