Tottenham Hotspur are closing in on the signings of Savinho and Omar Marmoush, and this audacious double swoop could ultimately result in some casualties from Roberto De Zerbi's squad.
The Lilywhites went big on defenders and midfielders earlier in the window, adding the likes of Jan Paul van Hecke, Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes to their ranks for significant fees. They've left their attacking reinforcements late, but they're seemingly now set to secure two long-term targets.
Manchester City duo Savinho and Marmoush will arrive for a mouth-watering combined fee, providing De Zerbi's ensemble with technical quality, flair and versatility in the final third.
These additions were necessary for Spurs, whose current cohort of offensive players leaves a lot to be desired. Some of these stars may now push for an exit, with their minutes likely to decline significantly due to these arrivals, and with Tottenham likely eager to recoup some of the money they've spent.
With that said, here are four Spurs attackers who could now leave the club.
Richarlison
Richarlison has been linked with a move away from Tottenham for several years now, yet a deal has never quite materialised, and he's always found a way to work himself back into the picture. While he's likely to start against Brentford on Saturday, the arrival of Marmoush may prompt him to urge his agent to source potential suitors.
The Egyptian and Dominic Solanke are likely to be viewed by De Zerbi as his two primary striker options. This will see the Brazilian's minutes plummet, and he's at the stage of his career where he may no longer be satisfied with a bit-part role.
Everton have been linked with a shock move for their former forward, and this may actually be a suitable destination for the 29-year-old. If this switch doesn't come to fruition in the remaining two weeks of the window, it's possible a January move could be on the table, after it's made clear to Richarlison how peripheral his role in N17 might be.
Mikey Moore
Like Richarlison, Mikey Moore is another who may play his part against Brentford, but this is largely a symptom of an extensive list of absences, rather than anything noteworthy he's done to earn his place. Dejan Kulusevski, Wilson Odobert and Xavi Simons are all ruled out with long-term injuries, the deal for the City duo hasn't gone through yet, and Solanke and Mohammed Kudus are doubts.
This leaves Moore as the only real option off the right, and he could therefore be granted his final appearance in a Spurs shirt at the Gtech Community Stadium, at least for the time being. The 19-year-old made 47 appearances on loan at Rangers last season, and didn't exactly set the world alight, finishing the campaign with seven league goals.
That said, he still has the capacity to develop into a special player; it's just that minutes may be limited for him in the 2026/27 season. The Lilywhites might therefore opt to send the youngster on another temporary stint for a year to continue his development.
Dane Scarlett
Unlike Moore, there's not a great chance that Dane Scarlett has a long-term future at Spurs. The striker has endured a series of underwhelming loan spells in recent years, most recently scoring one goal in 13 appearances for Hibernian.
At 22, he's unlikely to develop into a player who is at the required level for a team with aspirations of qualifying for the Champions League again.
De Zerbi has made it clear what he thinks of Scarlett with his infrequent use of the youngster throughout pre-season, and thus, it's likely he finds a new home before the end of the window.
Wilson Odobert
Wilson Odobert showed some positive signs in a dire Spurs side last season, but was struck with an unfortunate long-term injury in February, just as he was gaining momentum.
While it's not out of the question for him to recover and re-establish himself in De Zerbi's team, Savinho is going to be favoured over the Frenchman and this pecking order may ultimately lead to his departure. While his injury likely prevents him from being sold before the summer window is up, all roads could lead to a January exit.
