Tottenham Hotspur have three Premier League clubs interested in Brennan Johnson, and one of them stands out as being the most favourable for a key reason.

Brennan Johnson has never really managed to maintain a position in the starting lineup at Tottenham Hotspur, despite playing under two different managers.

The Wales international was a secondary option to Dejan Kulusevski, and this season, he has not looked like competing with Mohammed Kudus for the right wing position.

In fact, Johnson even appears to now be less favoured than Wilson Odobert, so it comes as no surprise that there is ongoing speculation surrounding his future at Spurs.

Three Premier League clubs are interested in Tottenham’s Brennan Johnson

According to journalist Dean Jones, Tottenham are looking to make a transfer decision on Johnson for 2026, and there is interest from three different teams.

Aston Villa, Bournemouth and Crystal Palace are all said to be interested in signing the 24-year-old, just two and a half years after he departed Nottingham Forest.

MORE SPURS STORIES

Johnson is contracted to Spurs until 2028, so it would make sense for the club to agree a deal as soon as possible if he is not believed to have a future in North London.

Spurs could use Johnson as leverage to sign Antoine Semenyo

Spurs trail Manchester City in the race to sign Semenyo, and it seems unlikely that a deal will be agreed for the Bournemouth goalscorer as things stand.

However, Tottenham could look to sell Johnson to the Cherries as part of a deal to secure Semenyo in an unlikely plot twist.

Of course, the winger has a release clause which could take the situation out of Bournemouth’s hands, but it is still an avenue worth exploring.
