Tottenham Hotspur have moved ahead of three Premier League rivals to the front of the queue to land an Inter Milan centre-back, and a new update from Italy has now raised the possibility that the Lilywhites could use one of their players in the operation.
According to various reports, Tottenham are expected to strengthen in central defence if they lose Cristian Romero this summer.
Over recent months, Spurs have been credited with a serious interest in Yann Bisseck, who fell down Simeone Inzaghi’s pecking order at Inter Milan during the 2024-25 season.
Just a few days ago, Inter Live claimed that Fabio Paratici is expected to drive Tottenham’s pursuit of Bisseck this summer, but the Lilywhites will not be short of competition for the 24-year-old.
Tottenham ahead of three Premier League clubs in Yann Bisseck race
According to a new report in Tuttosport (as relayed by CalcioMercato.it), Inter are ready to cash in on the Germany international this summer.
The outlet claims that the Nerazzurri hierarchy have already spoken to several English clubs about Bisseck’s sale, with the player on the radar of multiple Premier League sides.
The Serie A club have decided to cash in on the centre-back in order to offset their losses, with Aston Villa, West Ham and Manchester United coming forward to express an interest in the player.

However, it is Tottenham Hotspur who are said to be in pole position to land Yann Bisseck, with the publication claiming that the Lilywhites have been ‘pressing for some time’ to land the former Koln man.
Radu Dragusin could move to Inter as part of Bisseck deal
Interestingly, this update suggests that there is also the possibility of a part-exchange operation or a direct swap between the two clubs, with a Tottenham defender having been on Inter’s radar for a long time.
It is revealed that the Serie A giants have tried to sign Radu Dragusin in the past, and they could be given a green light to do so by Tottenham as part of the Bisseck operation.
However, the final decision will only be made by Inter once their managerial situation is sorted, with Cesc Fabregas expected to replace Simone Inzaghi at the helm.
