Roberto De Zerbi could be boosted by the return of two senior Tottenham players for his side’s upcoming trip to Villa Park.

The clash against Villa will be seen as a must-win game by Tottenham Hotspur, who remain two points adrift of safety with four games to go despite their win over Wolves last week.

Spurs have some reasons to be optimistic ahead of their clash against Unai Emery’s side, who have not been in great form of late and will be in Europa League semifinal action on Thursday.

It has now been revealed that the Lilywhites could also receive a big injury boost or two ahead of the trip to the Midlands.

Guglielmo Vicario and Destiny Udogie could return for Tottenham against Aston Villa

De Zerbi had previously revealed that Guglielmo Vicario is expected to return to training this week, but we have not received confirmation of the same from the club yet.

However, The Standard have suggested that the Tottenham number one could be in line to feature against Villa after missing the club’s last three league matches.

The outlet reveals that Destiny Udogie, who missed the clash against Wolves due to a muscle injury, could also make his return on Sunday.

James Maddison and Dominic Solanke update ahead of Villa clash

Dominic Solanke was forced off with an injury in Tottenham’s win over Wolves, and De Zerbi indicated that the England international’s injury is not serious.

However, The Standard say that Solanke’s return date remains unknown, as does the return date for Pape Matar Sarr, who remains sidelined with a shoulder injury.
