Thomas Frank still has plenty of work to do at Tottenham in the final stages of the transfer window.
The Dane watches his new side get off to the perfect start in the Premier League with a 3-0 win over Burnley on the opening day, but he will still be hoping to do more work on the squad before the 1 September deadline.
Tottenham are pushing hard to sign Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace, but there is also an emphasis on fringe players heading out of the door in a bid to trim the squad.
Frank has had decisions to make on several first-team stars, and the fate of one man in particular has now become clear.

Tottenham ready rapid deal as Manor Solomon wants Leeds move
Solomon’s future at Spurs has been under scrutiny for the vast majority of the summer, after his hugely productive loan spell with Leeds United in the Championship last season.
The Lilywhites are understood to be open to allowing the 26-year-old to leave once again this summer, be that permanently or on loan, according to The Standard.
Solomon for his part is now understood to be clear that he wants to return to Leeds, with the transfer deadline now approaching on the horizon.
Ex-Spurs scout Bryan King – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – believes that the North Londoners should be looking to strike a quick agreement with the Whites to sell the attacker.
“I can’t see him (Solomon) being part of Frank’s plans this season,” King said.
“It’s not a good start to be injured and unavailable when a new manager comes in.
“He’s got a lot of players to make his mind up about and wide players aren’t a problem for Spurs. You’ve got Johnson, and as soon as Kulusevski’s fit he’ll be back in the side.
“I think for Solomon’s best interests, and if Leeds are still interested, then I’d get that deal done as quickly as possible.”
‘Pocket rocket’ needs regular football away from Spurs
Solomon’s time at Spurs has largely been difficult since his move to N17 on a free transfer back in 2023.
The Israeli had enjoyed a productive loan spell with Fulham in the 2022/23 campaign, which saw branded as a “pocket rocket” by Jamie Redknapp during Sky Sports’ Super Sunday coverage.
However, he has hardly had the opportunity to show what he can do in a Tottenham shirt.
Solomon notched two assists for the Lilywhites in just 198 minutes of league football back in 2023/24, and then spent all of last season out on loan.
With Spurs’ wide options having now grown stronger around him, it surely makes sense for Solomon to be allowed to leave for Leeds in a bid to rediscover his best form.
