Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing the Manchester City attacker Omar Marmoush during the January transfer window.

The Egyptian International has struggled for regular opportunities at the Premier League club, and he needs to move on. He is at the peak of his career, and sitting on the bench at Manchester City will not benefit him. It will be interesting to see if he can secure a move away from Manchester City during the January transfer window.

Spurs could be an exciting opportunity for him. They need a dynamic attacker like him who can operate centrally as well as on the flanks. He will add goals and creativity to the side. They will be able to offer him regular football as well.

Mick Brown on Spurs interest in Omar Marmoush

Former Tottenham scout Mick Brown has now confirmed that Tottenham are looking at the player, and the Egyptian is expected to move on as well.

“Tottenham have been looking at Marmoush,” he told Football Insider.

“It’s a move that would definitely suit them, because he can play up front and out wide, and they’re both positions they’ve been aiming to strengthen in.

“It might make sense for him too, because he’s been out of the side at Man City and at this stage he will be wanting to play every minute possible.

“I thought he was really impressive when he came in at Man City, but now they’ve added players like Cherki, and Foden and Doku are hitting top form.

“Guardiola clearly doesn’t see him as part of that starting XI any more, so he might be thinking it’s time for him to move on if an offer comes in.”

Can Spurs convince Man City to sell Marmoush?

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham can agree on a deal with Manchester City for the player. They are fighting for the league title, and they might not want to weaken the team in the middle of the season. However, they could be under pressure to sell the player if Marmoush decides to force an exit.
