Tottenham are closely monitoring Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola this summer, CaughtOffside has claimed.
The Europa League winners have reportedly scouted the Frenchman extensively in recent months and have shown interest in bringing him to North London.
Spurs are believed to have identified Barcola as a potential future target and are not expected to make an immediate move, as PSG are unlikely to entertain the Champions League winner’s exit this summer.
The French giants reportedly value Barcola at over €100–120m (£84m–£100m) and are not expected to entertain any offers below the hefty price tag.
Tottenham Keen on Bradley Barcola
See the Frenchman as a future target
According to CaughtOffside, PSG have no intention of selling Barcola in the near future, after he quickly developed into a key player under Luis Enrique following his arrival from Lyon in 2023.
The talented 22-year-old, praised as ‘one of the best wingers in the world’, scored 21 goals and provided 19 assists in 58 appearances across all competitions this season.
He played a huge role in PSG’s remarkable treble-winning campaign, which culminated with a Champions League title and an emphatic 5-0 rout of Inter Milan last weekend.
Barcola was brought off the bench in the second half of the final and assisted Senny Malulu’s goal, which was PSG’s fifth of the night.
GIVEMESPORT Key Statistic: Barcola has scored two goals in 11 appearances for France.
Tottenham are unlikely to make any signings until manager Ange Postecoglou’s future is resolved, as the Australian tactician remains uncertain to be in charge next season despite leading the club to their first trophy in 17 years.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Spurs are expected to make a decision regarding Postecoglou’s future ‘very soon’ and are still considering options internally.
