Tottenham risk being pipped to one of their summer transfer targets by fierce rivals Arsenal.
Thomas Frank is looking to put his own stamp on the squad following his appointment as manager.
Ex-Brentford boss Frank is ready to raid his former side as he looks to strengthen the squad that finished 17th in the Premier League.
Arsenal, however, are reportedly ready to jump ahead of Spurs in the queue to sign one of the Bees’ crucial pieces.
Arsenal submit bid for Tottenham target Norgaard
Tottenham appear to be second in line to Arsenal to the signing of one Frank’s key Brentford players.

Christian Norgaard is subject to interest from the Gunners, who have submitted an official bid to sign the midfielder.
David Ornstein (25 June) has reported that Arsenal are exploring a deal to sign the Brentford skipper.
They have submitted a £9.38million bid and are awaiting a reply from the Bees, with the Danish international thought to be keen on the move.
Norgaard joined Brentford from Fiorentina in 2019 and has made almost 200 appearances for the West London outfit.
Frank has been a long-time admirer of the 31-year-old, having previously worked with him at Brondby and Denmark at youth level.
Norgaard would be a smart addition at The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but it appears as though a third reunion is unlikely.
Tottenham set to miss out on another former Frank player
Spurs being beaten to the signing of a Brentford player is an all too familiar sight for Tottenham fans.
Bryan Mbeumo held talks about joining Tottenham, but it looks as though he will be joining Manchester United instead.
The winger would have been an ideal signing for Frank, who helped the Cameroonian to 20 Premier League goals last season.
Tottenham want to sign three players before pre-season begins, but it would appear as though the ship has sailed on Norgaard and Mbeumo.
Spurs have been linked to Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze as an alternative to Mbeumo, with the club ready to trigger his release clause.
