Son Heung-min’s love story with Tottenham isn’t done just yet.

The South Korean cemented himself as a Lilywhite legend this year when he helped Tottenham lift the Europa League trophy at the end of last season.

Son then joined MLS side Los Angeles FC in the summer after his Spurs career came to its storybook ending, as many supporters will remember the contribution the forward made during his 10-year stay.

Spurs invited Son back to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium recently, where the 33-year-old gave a heartfelt speech to fans and expressed his gratitude towards the club.

Now, Tottenham‘s latest announcement regarding Son has left Spurs fans in sheer excitement, with many reacting on social media.

Tottenham announce Son Heung-min documentary

Son is unsurprisingly still performing to a high-level in the MLS, and given Tottenham’s attacking struggles this season, plenty would welcome him back with open arms.

The versatile attacker has been playing as a striker in America and ended the MLS campaign on sizzling form.

A return to N17 is very unlikely, but the Spurs faithful can now look forward to seeing Son in an all-new original documentary called ‘Heung-Min Son: Homecoming’.

Tottenham’s announcement suggests the documentary will feature footage from Son’s last season at the club, with many supporters unable to contain their excitement on X.

One Spurs fan said: “Everyone loves Son.”

Another Tottenham supporter said: “I want to stop crying, it’s not too late, please come back.”

Son clearly left his mark during his time at Tottenham, but it’s also time for Spurs to find their new superstar.

Antoine Semenyo could be the next hero for Tottenham

Tottenham are heavily interested in Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo, and have emerged as a leading contender for the forward’s signature.

The Lilywhites clearly miss someone of Son’s talent on the left wing, and Semenyo could fill the void.

Albeit they are very different players despite playing in the same position, at the end of the day, Semenyo is a born goal scorer.

Tottenham are looking to build their future, and Son’s long-term replacement could be about to arrive at N17.
