Guiglielmo Vicario splits opinion at Tottenham, but he has his good moments.
So far in the Premier League this season, Vicario has registered incredible stats for Tottenham and has been a large reason why Thomas Frank‘s side has started so well.
Vicario has faced criticism in the past, as the goalkeeper continues to be vulnerable to set pieces.
If Spurs want to achieve any success this season, then they need to have a goalkeeper they can trust. But, it’s possible that they can still win silverware with Vicario in goal, as seen through the Lilywhites’ Europa League success.
Despite Spurs fans having mixed opinions on their Italian goalkeeper, they might want a lifetime contract to be handed to Vicario, after the cheeky comment he just made about Arsenal.

Guglielmo Vicario spotted with Micky van de Ven in “we hate Arsenal” comment
Tottenham are preparing for Monaco in the Champions League on Wednesday night, but that hasn’t stopped Vicario enjoying himself.
X user, George, shared a post from a TikTok account, which captured the moment Vicario made his playful Arsenal remark, while inside Micky van de Ven‘s car.
In a question about their thoughts on Arsenal, van de Ven said, “No, I can’t say,” wafting his hands in front of the camera.
Vicario, on the other hand, didn’t hold back, saying, “No, we hate Arsenal man.”
The keeper has already played in some big North London derbies, as he kept a clean sheet last time round, when Tottenham beat Arsenal 1-0 in Hong Kong in July.
The post is now circulating on X, as the footage has started to reach Tottenham fans.
Spurs fans are loving Vicario’s Arsenal dig
Vicario doesn’t necessarily need to win fans over, but those who have negative views on the goalkeeper may think twice after his comments.
It’s fair to say that Tottenham fans who have seen the video have loved what they’ve seen, as Vicario may have just added some more value to his name in the Lilywhites’ fanbase.

It would be no surprise to see Vicario get some stick from the Arsenal fans in the next fixture.
