Tottenham may have agreed a deal for Mohammed Kudus, but their pursuit of Brentford forward Yoane Wissa is far from over, with the club still exploring ways to bring the striker to north London.

Tottenham Hotspur have splashed the cash on West Ham United winger Mohammed Kudus, with a £55 million deal now reported to have been accepted by the Hammers.

It is understood that Kudus’ medical is expected to take place today, before the 24-year-old puts pen to paper on a six-year deal with Tottenham.

Of course, Tottenham had to fend off interest from Chelsea to land Kudus, who is now set to become the first West Ham player to move to Spurs since Scott Parker did so in 2011.

Tottenham still interested in Yoane Wissa despite Mohammed Kudus deal

Reports from Sky Sports now claim that Tottenham Hotspur are not finished yet in the transfer market, following the agreement of a fee with West Ham for Mohammed Kudus.

It is claimed that Tottenham remain very much interested in bringing Yoane Wissa to north London this summer, as they look to bolster their attacking options even further.

Wissa has long been on Tottenham’s radar, well before the start of the summer window, and with 19 Premier League goals to his name last season, the Brentford forward continues to attract serious attention from the Spurs hierarchy.

MORE SPURS STORIES

The Brentford forward has one year left on his current contract, and it has been claimed that Wissa is keen on linking up with Thomas Frank at N17, ahead of next season.

Spurs transfers continue with Kudus and Kota Takai

So far this summer, while Tottenham’s business has been relatively slow, the past few days have now seen the club complete two signings.

Before the revelation of West Ham’s acceptance of Tottenham’s bid for Kudus, Spurs also announced the signing of 20-year-old Japan international Kota Takai on Tuesday.

The young centre-back, who signed a five-year deal, is expected to link up with Thomas Frank and his coaching staff during pre-season training.

That should also be the case for Kudus if and when the move is finalised, with the winger already having returned to West Ham training ahead of the potential switch.

Tottenham still need to improve their squad further, particularly in midfield. It remains to be seen whether Frank and his recruitment team will make another addition in that area of the pitch this summer.
