Tottenham Hotspur’s decision on Mikey Moore’s future depends on one big factor as Rangers attempt to extend the winger’s loan spell beyond the summer.
Moore has been on an outstanding run of form for Rangers over recent months, and naturally, the Scottish club do not want to lose the Tottenham academy graduate at the end of this campaign.
We have seen plenty of reports over recent weeks suggesting Rangers are set to prioritise extending the Spurs man’s stay beyond the summer.
In fact, the Scottish club’s head coach, Danny Rohl, has even admitted that the SPL side had begun talks with Tottenham over Moore.
Tottenham will not loan out Mikey Moore if they get relegated
TEAMtalk have now claimed that the 18-year-old is loving life at Ibrox and would love to stay for one more season if the decision were up to him.
However, the final decision rests with Spurs, and there is one scenario which would prevent the Lilywhites from loaning Moore out again.
If Tottenham were to be relegated to the Championship, the teenager is expected to be integrated into the first-team squad in North London to aid the club’s attempts to bounce straight back to the top-flight.

What is likely to happen with Moore if Spurs stay up?
It is revealed that, conversely, if Tottenham do manage to stay in the Premier League, the club would be open to loaning out their academy graduate again next season.
In that event, Rangers are expected to be front-runners to re-sign Moore on loan, as the youngster has enjoyed his time at the Scottish club.
The report adds that Rohl has been pushing the Rangers hierarchy to have conversations with Spurs regarding an extension of the loan, with the Glasgow club’s leadership said to share the German coach’s enthusiasm to push through a deal.
