Tottenham have shared images and videos of the team’s latest training session at Hotspur Way, and Spurs fans will be delighted to see one face back out on the grass.
Thomas Frank and his coaching staff are now working with the full complement of players at Hotspur Way, with the last of the internationals returning to pre-season training last week.
The only ones missing are the injured players, and there has been some bad news on the injury front over the last few days.
Thomas Frank has confirmed that Dejan Kulusevski will not be fit for the start of the season, with the Swede still recovering from the foot injury he picked up in March.
James Maddison is now back in Tottenham training with his teammates
Radu Dragusin is ahead of schedule in his recovery from his ACL injury, but the Romanian is still some way away from returning to the pitch.
However, it has now been confirmed that James Maddison has started training with his teammates after overcoming his knee injury, which he picked up in Tottenham’s Europa League semifinal win over Bodo/Glimt.
In the latest training images released by Spurs’ official social media account, Maddison can be seen involved in the outdoor drills with the rest of the squad.

Maddison has to win over Thomas Frank
While Tottenham’s move for Morgan Gibbs-White is still in limbo, the North London club’s decision to make a big offer for the England international is a worrying sign for Maddison.
It suggests that Frank wants an energetic and athletic number ten, and it is unlikely that Spurs would be ready to pay £60m for the 25-year-old unless the Danish coach sees him as a guaranteed starter.
Maddison thus has his work cut out to prove to Frank and his staff that he deserves to keep his place in the team, and the 28-year-old is certainly not one to shirk a challenge.
