Tottenham Hotspur fans have turned their frustration towards Randal Kolo Muani after another costly individual error left Spurs still fighting for Premier League survival heading into the final day of the season.

Tottenham Hotspur have only made life harder for themselves in the closing gameweeks of the season, with their Premier League survival still very much in the balance.

In the last two games, individual mistakes have proved costly and have been the difference between three points, one point and none at all.

Against Leeds United, a moment of madness from Mathys Tel saw Spurs lose their one-goal lead and settle for a draw after the Frenchman himself had earlier given Tottenham the lead.

Last night against Chelsea, yet another individual error appeared to cost Tottenham a point that would have guaranteed their Premier League status with a game to spare.

Tottenham fans react to Randal Kolo Muani error vs Chelsea

This time it was Randal Kolo Muani, with the Frenchman careless in possession as he lost the ball in his own half following a loose pass.

That error was quickly punished and led to Chelsea doubling their advantage, leaving Spurs with a mountain to climb. Muani was eventually hooked off after his error and replaced by James Maddison.

MORE SPURS STORIES

Tottenham fans have now taken to social media to vent their frustrations, with several supporters calling for Kolo Muani to be dropped.

One fan said, “I never want to see Kolo Muani in a Tottenham shirt ever again,” while another supporter named the front three he would rather see against Everton: “Madders and Tel down the wings from the start on Sunday please – no Kolo.”

A third fan commented: “I’m fed up with saying I would rather play with 10 than see Kolo on the pitch. People are starting to listen now. Anyway, RDZ must have noticed, so I look forward to any other human being playing there against Everton, or just a blank space. Either will do me.”

Another fan added: “If we get relegated Kolo Muani and Vicario will be most to blame. We were lucky to stop playing one of them but we kept playing the other clown.”

Meanwhile, one final supporter stated: “Honestly if it’s 11 men with him or 10 men without him I’m starting with 10 men.”

Roberto De Zerbi faces major Tottenham selection decision

With Tottenham still severely hit by injuries in attack, Roberto De Zerbi’s options remain rather limited.

However, with just one league game left this season and Kolo Muani showing little sign of improvement, there is certainly a case for him to be dropped.

De Zerbi could instead opt for the returning Maddison on the right, should Kolo Muani be taken out of the starting XI.

Although Maddison is not a natural right winger, he can drift into midfield instead of holding width, leaving Pedro Porro to provide the attacking threat from wide areas.

Spurs face Everton in what is now a crucial game for their league season, and, with the margin for error gone, De Zerbi cannot afford to get his selection wrong.
