Tottenham have been handed a major Xavi Simons boost as the midfielder opens the door to a Premier League switch.

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a fair few big-money signings this summer window, including RB Leipzig’s Xavi Simons.

It was reported a few days back that Tottenham have even gone as far as to enquire about Simons’ willingness to join them this summer window.

A hefty price tag of £60million is expected to be demanded by Leipzig from any club looking to secure the services of the 22-year-old attacking midfielder.

GIVEMESPORT are now reporting that Tottenham have been handed a huge boost in their pursuit of Xavi Simons.

It is claimed that the RB Leipzig star has given indications that he is prepared to move away from the Bundesliga, after head coach Thomas Frank has been aiming to lure him to N17.

It is understood that while Simons is open to a move to the Premier League, Spurs would have to splash the cash if they are to secure his services, with £60million being the fee floated around.

It is further reported by the outlet that Tottenham have been updated on Xavi Simons’ situation by his representatives.
