Tottenham are reportedly keen on signing AC Milan attacker Rafael Leao this summer.
Injury expert Dr Rajpal Brar has gauged Leao’s fitness record ahead of a potential medical in the coming weeks.
The Portugal international has been a regular for Milan, playing 50 games in all competitions last season.
Spurs may assess Leao’s muscular injuries before transfer decision
To avoid potential ramifications, Tottenham will look at Leao’s muscular injury history closely before making a final decision, according to Dr Brar.

Discussing the state of play with Leao exclusively with Tottenham News, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, shared his verdict.
“Spurs may take a closer look at his muscular injuries, particularly if his recent muscular injury is hamstring-related,” he said.
“This may have short and mid-term ramifications, so they’ll have to decide based on that.
“He played 34 league games last season, so that’s impressive, and he’s most likely not to have any injury-related red flags ahead of the transfer.”
Tottenham could do with Leao in the final third
Leao would be a stellar signing for Tottenham, injecting world-class quality into their attack.
The AC Milan star, with 70 goals and 62 assists in 260 appearances, offers explosive pace, dribbling and versatility as a left winger or striker.
His goal-scoring and creative threat perfectly suit Frank’s system.
The Portuguese’s ability to beat defenders and deliver in big moments would complement the current attacking players and elevate Tottenham’s top-four ambitions.
Leao’s youth and proven Serie A pedigree make him a long-term investment for Spurs’ trophy aspirations.
