Tottenham Hotspur have held conversations over a sensational move to sign Real Madrid striker Endrick this summer.
Spurs have had a busy summer transfer window so far, bringing in Andy Robertson, Marcos Senesi, Martin Dubravka, Jan Paul van Hecke, Mateus Fernandes, and Sandro Tonali, and breaking their transfer record twice in the process.
But Roberto De Zerbi has stated that he feels business is only 60% done, with additions needed in the forward department. Man City and Brazil star Savinho has been made the top target for the winger position, while Liverpool star Cody Gakpo is also a target, and Pedro Neto is being considered as a back-up option. However, they have now been given the opportunity for another star to join their squad.
Tottenham Hold Endrick Talks
Endrick spent the second half of the 2025/26 season on loan in Ligue 1 with Lyon, where he scored eight goals and registered eight assists in 21 appearances across all competitions.
That form earned him a spot in the Brazil squad at the World Cup, and was also expected to earn him a place in Jose Mourinho's squad at Real Madrid for the new season. But the iconic manager, known for making ruthless decisions, has moved strongly in the market by bringing in striker Carlos Espi, winger Yan Diomande, and handing VInicius Jr a new contract.
Those decisions have left Endrick on the brink of the sidelines once again, and TEAMtalk report that his representatives have begun reaching out to clubs across Europe as he contemplates another Real Madrid exit.
The 20-year-old striker is understood to have a preference to move to the Premier League this time around, but Real Madrid are only willing to sanction another straight loan deal - similar to the one that Lyon had last season.
Tottenham are understood to be open to that deal structure, and would be willing to do a deal that does not include a buy-option, handing them an advantage in the race for his signature ahead of the likes of Manchester United.
Endrick is yet to make a final decision on his future, but his representatives are beginning to assess his options as we enter the final weeks of the window.
Endrick Ready to Explode
Endrick has been one of the brightest talents to come out of South America since Neymar, and that convinced Real Madrid to pay a stunning £61.7m to sign him as a 16-year-old.
Despite his relatively small stature, his attributes have regularly brought praise, and current national team boss and former Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti admitted to being stunned by what he had seen during their time working together.
"He is spectacular," Ancelotti told a press conference.
"He has these amazing characteristics he has shown whenever he has a chance. His accuracy is off the charts, he's quick, and he still has a lot to improve with the ball.
"But, wow, his dribbling, his runs... the shot he has... he could even score a second goal easily with that great strike off the post... He is just spectacular. Very young, but a very fast learner."
