Tottenham Hotspur have held talks over a summer move to sign Paris Saint-Germain star Goncalo Ramos, according to TEAMtalk.

Spurs are battling to stay in the Premier League this season, and currently sit just one point above the relegation zone, with new manager Roberto De Zerbi tasked with navigating a relegation battle before rebuilding the squad for next season and getting back to being competitive.

Striker is expected to be a priority position to strengthen with the future fo Richarlison in the air, and Randal Kolo Muani's loan move not expected to be made permanent, and Ramos has emerged as a potential target.

Ramos, who has been described as 'unbelievable', joined the French giants from Benfica back in 2023 in a deal worth around £60m, but has found himself struggling for regular first-team football ever since.

The Portugal international, who was part of the squad that won the Champions League last season, is now ready to push for a move away from the Ligue 1 side in order to establish himself as a regular, and his representatives have made contact with a number of clubs about being his potential destination.

Tottenham are one of the clubs to have held talks with his agents about a move, and it's understood that the 24-year-old is ready to test himself in the Premier League, and would be open to a move to north London to play regularly if they are still playing in the top-flight.

It's unclear how much any potential deal would cost, but Ramos is entering the final two years of his deal at the Parc des Princes, and it could now be the perfect time for them to cash in on the forward.

Tottenham Need a New Striker

Dominic Solanke had a good debut season at Spurs following his move from Bournemouth, but he has had an injury hit second season which has seen him struggle for form.

Richarlison and Kolo Muani are more likely to be playing elsewhere next season, which means a new striker is likely to be a necessity for De Zerbi, and could be his first signing since joining on a long-term deal.

Ramos is a traditional target man, but he has great movement and poacher instincts which could make him the perfect fit for the Italian's system, and if the fee makes sense then it could be the ideal signing to make the squad stronger and give everyone what they want.
