Inter Milan interest in Guglielmo Vicario has intensified, with the Spurs goalkeeper now open to a potential move to San Siro next summer.

The Italy international has emerged as the leading candidate to succeed Yann Sommer, and recent developments suggest the path could soon open.

According to Matteo Moretto, via FCInterNews, Vicario has given his full availability to the idea of joining Inter.

The Tottenham goalkeeper sits at the very top of the Nerazzurri shortlist, not only for technical reasons, but also because of his age, nationality and suitability for the club’s long-term project.

Inter view Vicario as the ideal profile to begin the next cycle between the posts.

His familiarity with Serie A, combined with his status within the Italy national team, strengthens his appeal.

The club believe he offers both immediate reliability and room for growth, key factors as they plan beyond Yann Sommer.

Contacts have already taken place on an informal level. Vicario has spoken with several Italy teammates who currently play for Inter, and those conversations have helped him warm to the idea of a return to Serie A.

At this stage, the goalkeeper has not pushed for an immediate exit, but he has clearly opened the door to a move in the summer.

Tottenham, for their part, have not yet entered formal negotiations. However, Inter are monitoring the situation closely and continue to assess timing and conditions. Much will depend on how Spurs approach the market and whether they show openness to discussions.
