Manor Solomon is now officially no longer a Leeds United player after returning to Tottenham Hotspur following the conclusion of his season-long loan.
He and Joe Rothwell both returned to their parent clubs, the latter going back to Bournemouth, on 1 July, when the 2025/26 season officially started. Junior Firpo also left Leeds upon the expiration of his contract and looks set to return to Real Betis.
All three were key parts of the Championship title-winning team that the Whites must replace this summer. Solomon, though, is someone Leeds have shown interest in signing once again after their promotion.
Here's the latest on the Israel winger as things stand ahead of an interesting summer for the Whites promotion hero...
Tottenham's stance
The expectation is that new Tottenham head coach Thomas Frank will look at the winger during pre-season before deciding whether to keep him in the squad. Solomon would prefer to stay at Spurs, but there remains a possibility that they will still sell this transfer window, just later in the summer.
After signing the Israel international on a free transfer from Shakhtar Donetsk, any fee they receive would boost their compliance with Premier League profitability and sustainability rules. Tottenham also lack homegrown players at the club, meaning registering Solomon for their Champions League campaign could prove problematic.
What Leeds have said
You'd imagine Leeds would jump at the chance to sign Solomon if he becomes available. They thanked him (and Rothwell) on social media and their website upon announcing the conclusion of his loan spell, highlighting his "crucial role in the run-in" last season. The club also acknowledged that he "will be forever etched into Whites' folklore" for securing the title with his last-minute winner against Plymouth Argyle.
Of both players, they said: "The duo will be forever remembered for their influential involvement in helping the Whites return to the Premier League as champions of the second tier."
Their thank you concluded by stating that the club "wish them all the best for the future, safe in the knowledge that they will always be remembered fondly at Elland Road."
What Solomon has said
"No, not yet. Honestly, I really don't know what's going to happen in the summer," he told LeedsLive in an exclusive interview back in May.
“I still have three years left on my contract with Tottenham, so at the moment we really don't know. So far I've been always only focused on the season and what we want to achieve, and still we have an important game to go.
“And I think that after this game [vs Plymouth Argyle on Saturday], then we will start to think about my future. But so far, I've been only focused on the right now.”
Solomon took to social media after Tuesday's announcement, reposting the statement and then a compliation of footage from his time at the club.
What he reposted along with the action spoke volumes about his true feelings toward Leeds, attaching a white love heart emoji while tagging the club's Instagram handle.
