Tottenham and Leeds United will both look to extend their strong Premier League runs when they meet on Monday.
Survival was Leeds’ objective at the start of the season, but the same cannot be said for Spurs.
After dismal spells under Thomas Frank and Igor Tudor, the hosts found themselves in trouble at the foot of the table before eventually dropping into the relegation zone.
As a result, Roberto De Zerbi arrived in north London last month and has since overseen Spurs’ first two wins of 2026.
Leeds, though, have also hit form and will aim to end De Zerbi’s promising start at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Form guide
Back-to-back wins over Wolves and Aston Villa lifted Spurs out of the bottom three and pushed West Ham back into it.
After losing his first game against Sunderland, De Zerbi has taken seven points from the next nine. Former Leeds forward Georginio Rutter would strike late to rescue a 2-2 draw for Brighton in his only home game so far.
Daniel Farke’s side, meanwhile, have also hit form, winning three of their four league games since the international break.

Head-to-head
Historically, Monday’s fixture has remained evenly matched, with 31 Leeds wins to Tottenham’s 38.
Though, the hosts have had the better of the Whites since the 2020 promotion under Marcelo Bielsa, who secured the only win for the West Yorkshire outfit in the last seven.
Losing 3-0, 2-1 and 4-3, Leeds are yet to win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium since its 2019 opening, leaving a big task on Farke’s hands as his side make the trip on Monday.
Team news and predicted lineups
In the team news, the visitors will be without Noah Okafor after he sustained a calf injury in the recent win over Burnley.
He joins Gabriel Gudmundsson on the sidelines, though Gudmundsson could return before the end of the season.
As a result, the underused Dan James could start in attack as Farke looks to replace Okafor’s pace and directness.
Otherwise, little changes for the Whites, with Ao Tanaka, Anton Stach and Ethan Ampadu likely to start together again in midfield after an impressive display last time out.
For De Zerbi, his Spurs squad remains decimated by injury, with the likes of Mohammed Kudus, Dejan Kulusevski, Cristian Romero and more all missing the remaining weeks of the campaign.
James Maddison recently returned to the squad, though the Englishman is still not fully up to speed after missing the entirety of the season thus far.
Ahead of the team selection, former Whites graduate Archie Gray is one to watch out for, with the 20-year-old potentially in line for a start after De Zerbi recently described him as the “future” of Tottenham.
Predicted Tottenham XI: Kinsky; Porro, Danso, Van de Ven, Udogie; Gallagher, Gray, Bentancur; Kolo Muani, Richarlison, Tel
Predicted Leeds XI: Darlow; Rodon, Bijol, Struijk; Bogle, Ampadu, Tanaka, Stach; Calvert-Lewin, James
Tottenham man to watch: Mathys Tel
Making the move to Tottenham in 2025, versatile forward Mathys Tel has had a difficult time in North London.
Though, he looks to be bursting into life under De Zerbi, who has trusted both him and Randal Kolo Muani out on the flanks in recent weeks.
Full of energy, pace and directness, Tel will be a man for Farke to watch out for on Monday, while Leeds will have to avoid letting him rip with his dangerous right foot.
We say: Tottenham 2-2 Leeds
With both sides in fine fettle, they could cancel each other out when they lock horns on Monday.
Relegation worries have eased for Spurs, who have shown improved form in recent matches, while the Whites have played superb football since the international break.
With both looking to finish the season strongly, a draw at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium looks a real possibility.
