Tottenham Hotspur are drawing up 'emergency' plans to replace Igor Tudor if the club fails to beat Crystal Palace on Thursday night, according to a report just published by TEAMtalk.

Spurs appointed the Croat on a caretaker basis until the end of the season to pull the club away from the Premier League relegation zone following the dismissal of Thomas Frank, but the 47-year-old has lost his first two matches in charge despite being regarded as a 'firefighter' manager.

Results went against Tottenham on Wednesday night which has put even more pressure on them to pick up a positive result against Oiver Glasner's Eagles, with the north Londoners now just one point above the drop zone.

Worryingly for Spurs, they have now gone 10 league matches without a win, as their last victory came against Sunderland at the end of December.

Their first top flight win of 2026 is paramount, but Spurs are making contingency plans if another disappointing performance and result happens.

Tottenham Board Have 'Genuine Concerns' About Tudor

Tottenham chiefs decided that Tudor was the man to keep the club in the Premier League, which was probably based on the positive effect he had at Lazio and Juventus in previous years, having joined them at a similar time of the season.

The Croat led both sides to eight wins and just one defeat in his 10 matches in charge at the end of the respective campaigns, but he has already beaten that loss record at Spurs.

Now, according to TEAMtalk, the Tottenham board are said to have 'genuine concerns' that Tudor might not be the right man to turn things around with no real impact on the squad to date.

While the defeat to Arsenal was understandable, albeit not brilliant, there was no progress from that game to the clash against Fulham a week later, despite having a week to work on things on the training ground.

Tudor has also started to call out his players in the media, which may not be the best tactic in what is a serious relegation battle.

Tottenham Identify Tudor Alternatives

According to the report, Tottenham decision-makers are already aware of potential alternatives they could turn to should they decide they can't continue with Tudor at the helm.

It seems clear that a third consecutive defeat could have severe ramifications for Tudor, with Spurs' situation getting more and more serious every week.

The Croat needs a big performance from his players on Thursday, or he could find himself out of a job very quickly following the game.
