Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing the German striker Nicolo Tresoldi at the end of the season.

The 21-year-old has impressed with Club Brugge, and he has 17 goals to his name this season. According to Sky Sports reporter Florian Plettenberg, the player is also a target for Arsenal. They have already made enquiries to sign the young attacker, and Spurs are ‘monitoring’ the situation. It remains to be seen whether they follow up on their interest with an official bid in the summer.

Spurs need someone like Nicolo Tresoldi

Tresoldi could be a useful long-term addition for Spurs. He is highly rated in Germany, and he has shown his quality in Belgium. He would add goals to the Spurs attack, and he could be the ideal replacement for Randal Kolo Muani. The Frenchman will leave in the summer when his loan deal expires.

Dominic Solanke is not a prolific goalscorer, and Spurs need more depth in that area of the pitch. It is hardly a surprise they are keen on Tresoldi. He could be a superb long-term investment for them.

Premier League move could excite Tresoldi

The opportunity to join Spurs or Arsenal could be exciting for Tresoldi. He is a young player with a big future, and Premier League football could unlock his true potential. He will cost around €25-30 million in the summer.

Spurs have the financial means to get the deal done, and the asking price is quite reasonable as well.

It will be interesting to see what the player decides. If there is an offer from Arsenal as well, he will have a decision to make. Spurs are going through a rough patch, and they are fighting relegation. On the other hand, Arsenal could win the league. That could really complicate matters for Spurs. Furthermore, Spurs are yet to solve their managerial situation permanently.
