Tottenham are planning a complete squad overhaul in time for the upcoming season.

The Lilywhites have been linked to several attackers this summer as Thomas Frank looks to strengthen his current team.

Tottenham did not disappoint in front of goal in the Premier League last season. However, from the 64 goals scored, Brennan Johnson was the top scorer, with 11.

As a result, Tottenham are on the hunt for forward players with an eye for goal, while some players look set to head in the opposite direction.

Oliver Irow ‘to be sent on loan’ after contract agreement

Tottenham recently confirmed (27 June) that Oliver Irow has signed a new contract with the Lilywhites, keeping him in North London until 2028.

MORE SPURS STORIES

Irow was the top scorer for Spurs’ Under-21s last season. In his first full season at that level, the forward netted 10 goals in all competitions, as well as an unbelievable six goals in seven games toward the turn of the year.

Irow has the talent to establish himself in the first team, and Lilywhite Rose owner John Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – believes the 19-year-old should be loaned as part of his development.

“I think Irow needs to go on loan now,” Wenham said.

“He’s signed this contract until 2028, so it’s a three-year deal. I think he needs to push on and go out on loan, like Damola Ajayi has done.

“They’re both from the same age group and if Irow goes on loan, it opens the door for Luca Williams-Barnett and Tynan Thompson to get game time with the Under-21s next season.”

Tottenham need to sell Richarlison this summer

While Tottenham are making good progress with their academy products, adjustments still need to be made to the first team.

Richarlison is one player expected to be sold this summer after a disappointing three-year stint at Hotspur Way.

Several injuries and inconsistent performances on the pitch have meant that the Brazilian has never quite shown his true potential in North London. Now, with the UEFA Champions League to play for, Richarlison is just one of several big changes Spurs will hope to make this summer.

But with the summer transfer window approaching its peak, Tottenham will need to sell Richarlison soon to get the best deal possible.
