Mikey Moore’s future has been up in the air at Tottenham.

Recruitment is the buzzword of the month for Tottenham, and it will be crucial that Spurs get that aspect right this summer if Thomas Frank is to succeed in North London.

As of yet, Mathys Tel remains the only addition, though Frank will undoubtedly be keen to see their transfer business accelerate over the next few weeks, with the PSR turnover imminent.

However, retaining the services of those currently at Tottenham will be just as important, with a new update emerging on the future of Moore.

Tottenham make new Moore offer amid Juventus speculation

Moore staked a claim for his place in the first team at Spurs last season, though Ange Postecoglou refused to give him much of a chance to showcase his ability.

That ultimately led to questions as to where his future would lie, with a loan move to West Brom mooted after Ryan Mason was appointed as manager.

Juventus also showed an interest in signing the teenager this summer, but as per a report from Football London (29 June), Spurs have now opened talks over a new deal for Moore.

Negotiations have been ongoing over the last few days, with Spurs hopeful that they can extend his contract, before likely making an immediate decision on his future for the upcoming campaign.

Moore could thrive under Frank at Tottenham

Frank enjoyed a successful tenure at Brentford, and the way he improved his players is likely to have been a huge factor behind his appointment at Spurs.

He will now need to replicate that success in North London, and Moore could benefit from it.

With a Champions League campaign ahead, Spurs will need to rotate, and Moore is surely in line to receive many more opportunities than he was afforded last season, and it will only serve as a benefit.
