Tottenham have set their sights on yet another teenage prospect, with a bold £13m bid already lodged as they look to raid Leicester City for one of their most exciting young talents.

Tottenham Hotspur are no strangers when it comes to signing youngsters, with the Lilywhites bringing in a few ahead of this season.

We saw Spurs splash £40m on Archie Gray, after the midfielder impressed at Leeds United in the Championship last season.

It looks like money well spent, as Gray picked up the Young Player of the Year award at the London Awards in only his first season in north London.

Lucas Bergvall has also impressed in his first season at Spurs. Despite his slow start, the young midfielder has since grown into his midfield role, putting in top performances for Tottenham, with the club rewarding Bergvall with a new six-year contract extension.

Reports from Fichajes now claim that Spurs have their eyes set on another youngster.

It is said that Leicester City starlet Jake Evans is firmly on Tottenham Hotspur’s radar and that the north London club have now made a £13m offer to the Foxes.

Evans is one of the brightest prospects at the East Midlands club, and it has been stated that the Foxes are looking to build around the youngster.

Despite being just 16 years old, Jake Evans became the third youngest ever player to feature for the club at that age, when he made his debut against Brighton back in April.

Tottenham, though, are not the only club to have noticed the youngster. The publication also claims that Manchester United are keeping close tabs on the teenager and, just like Spurs, they too have put in a £13m bid.

United themselves are no strangers to signing youngsters, as we have seen them bring a few into their club in recent windows.

In fact, the Red Devils even beat Spurs to the signing of exciting full-back Patrick Dorgu in the winter window, with the full-back signing a five-year contract.

With Leicester City now relegated, it is claimed that it would be increasingly difficult for the Foxes to hold onto their man, especially with some of England’s top clubs sniffing around.
