Tottenham Hotspur’s struggles at home this season have been in stark contrast to their strong away form, with attention now turning to subtle changes made inside the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as the club looks for a response.
Tottenham Hotspur’s record away from home thus far this season has been rather impressive. In fact, if the season were to be judged by away performances alone, Spurs would find themselves in fifth place, a Champions League spot.
Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of Tottenham’s home form. Thus far this campaign, the Lilywhites have managed just two wins and 12 points at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, a record similar to relegated Burnley.
The appointment of Roberto De Zerbi, who has Spurs in a four-game unbeaten run, has not improved the Lilywhites’ fortunes either, as in home games under the Italian, Tottenham have struggled to walk away with three points despite being in front in their respective matches.
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium tunnel change aims to inspire Spurs revival
The home record certainly has to improve, with Spurs not tasting victory at their own turf since the turn of the year. One would have to go back to December 2025 for the last time Tottenham managed to secure all three points domestically.
Football.London has now shared a detail Spurs have introduced at their home ground as they look to turn their form around.
The publication reports that changes have been made to the tunnel at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, where Spurs players walk out after turning right from the dressing room.
MORE SPURS STORIES
Above the tunnel, the beam has now been painted gold with the words “All Together Always”, the motto captain Cristian Romero has often used when posting on social media about the club.
Also printed on the walls of the tunnel as the Tottenham players walk out are images of fans celebrating with the players, with “All Together Always” again written in white on both sides in large lettering.
Spurs look for a lift amid Premier League survival fight
Tottenham fans even displayed an “All Together Always” tifo during the club’s clash with Leeds United as they looked to spur their team on.
While it is a slight change, Spurs will be hoping it leads to an upturn in form, with Tottenham still fighting for Premier League survival.
As it stands, Spurs still have one home game left this season on the final day, and depending on results in the penultimate round of fixtures, victory could be essential.
A West Ham United win and a Tottenham draw in matchweek 37 would mean Spurs have everything to play for the next time they take to the pitch at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
