Manor Solomon has been told by Tottenham boss Roberto De Zerbi that he is not part of his plans for the season ahead and can leave the club this summer
Former Leeds United star Manor Solomon has reportedly been made surplus to requirements by Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi. The Italian is said to have informed the Israel forward that he has no place in his plans for the upcoming season and that the winger is free to seek a move away from the club, according to football. london.
The 26-year-old has made just six competitive appearances for Spurs since his arrival in 2023, having spent time on three separate loan spells following a knee injury during his debut season at the club. Solomon had harboured hopes that his former Shakhtar Donetsk boss De Zerbi might find a role for him within his revamped squad next term.
However, that prospect has failed to materialise, with De Zerbi making clear to Solomon that his future lies away from north London. Spurs will now look to secure a new club this summer for the Israel international, who has two years remaining on his current deal.

Solomon joined on a free transfer from Shakhtar in the summer of 2023, following a loan stint at Fulham, as an addition to Ange Postecoglou's squad. After a promising start which included two assists against Burnley, he suffered a knee injury in training just six weeks into the season.
The setback kept him sidelined for the remainder of that campaign, and the following summer he was shipped out on a season-long loan to then-Championship outfit Leeds United.
Solomon thrived at Elland Road, racking up 10 goals and 13 assists in 41 appearances, playing a key role in helping Daniel Farke's side clinch promotion to the Premier League.
Many anticipated that Leeds would attempt to make his transfer permanent in the subsequent window, but Solomon was instead left at Spurs until the final day of the summer window.
A loan switch to Crystal Palace collapsed despite a deal sheet being submitted to the Premier League, as the Eagles withdrew from the agreement, leaving Tottenham to secure the winger a last-minute move to Villarreal.
That stint yielded just one La Liga start, however, and during the winter window a fresh loan was arranged for him to join struggling Italian outfit Fiorentina.
Despite suffering a thigh injury in March, Solomon made 16 appearances for the Florence club, contributing two goals and one assist as they secured their Serie A survival, while also providing an assist in their Conference League quarter-final second leg victory over Crystal Palace.
The winger will now be seeking yet another new club this summer, with the door at Spurs firmly shut. The Whites have been looking to generate movement during the early knockings of the transfer window.
They remain in talks with Southampton for midfielder Shea Charles, with hope remaining that a breakthrough can be found, after an initial bid for the Saints key man was rejected.
