Tottenham are looking to start the week off on a positive note after missing out on Morgan Gibbs-White.

Thomas Frank will be keen to put the disappointment of back-to-back draws against League One opposition on Saturday (26 July) and losing out on Gibbs-White the same evening swiftly behind him.

The Danish manager will now be looking ahead after the Tottenham squad arrived in Hong Kong on Monday (28 July) ahead of their upcoming pre-season friendly against Arsenal on Thursday (31 July).

Frank will be keen to get more match minutes into his players against tougher opposition, but will still have his eye on summer dealings as Tottenham News brings you the latest updates from N17.

Spurs open talks for Rodrygo but wait on Liverpool

Tottenham have opened talks with Rodrygo about a potential transfer, but are waiting to see if Liverpool are going to approach the Brazilian first.

MORE SPURS STORIES

The 24-year-old has been linked with a move away from Real Madrid following the arrival of Xabi Alonso, and was a peripheral figure as the Spanish giants competed in the FIFA Club World Cup this summer.

Spurs are looking to bring in one more attacker, with Son Heung-min potentially set to leave, but will be aware that any move for the two-time UEFA Champions League winner would require significant investment.

Mikey Moore set to join Rangers on loan

Mikey Moore is set to join Rangers on a season-long loan after his camp pushed for his exit in search of more game time.

The Spurs academy graduate made 19 senior appearances for the Lilywhites last season, but has seen himself pushed down the pecking order following the summer arrivals of Mathys Tel and Mohammed Kudus.

The 17-year-old did not travel to Asia to secure a loan deal, and despite several Championship sides expressing interest, Moore has decided to make the trip to Scotland.

Lille negotiating loan deal for Antonin Kinsky

Lille have targeted Antonin Kinsky to replace their outgoing goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier, who is set to join Tottenham’s Super Cup opponents Paris Saint-Germain on a five-year deal.

The Czech shotstopper only joined the North Londoners in January, but has impressed in the 10 appearances he has made for Spurs so far, especially with his distribution from the back.

Lille are looking for a loan deal for the 22-year-old and are not willing to let Chevalier leave until they have secured a replacement in Kinsky.
