After deciding late that he wanted a career in sports journalism, Daniel worked his way up the ladder in an unconventional manner.
Having opted against university, Daniel worked with Sky Sports as a freelance contributor and translator during transfer windows while also volunteering on several other blog pages and outlets to get a portfolio of content together.
Daniel then worked with Barnet FC as part of their social media team before, starting his own website which focused on football and MMA content.
That eventually led to work with 90min and Reach PLC with The Mirror, Daily Record, Daily Express, and Manchester Evening News.
Following that, Daniel spent two-and-a-half years with Breaking Media covering Everton, Rangers, Leeds, West Ham and other clubs before joining GIVEMESPORT as a Premier League editor.
As well as football, Daniel is a huge MMA fan and has appeared on YouTube and podcast content too.

Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing a move to sign Leeds United star Karl Darlow this summer in a surprise deal, according to The Telegraph.
The north London side are in the midst of a relegation battle to stay in the Premier League, with the club currently two points adrift of safety with six games remaining in the campaign, six points behind Leeds.
But after appointing Roberto De Zerbi on a long-term contract, Spurs are planning ahead for next season anyway, in the hopes of being a Premier League side once the campaign ends, and a move for a new goalkeeper is being looked at as a potential option amid concerns over the futures of Guglielmo Vicario and Antonin Kinsky.
Tottenham Eyeing Move for Leeds Star Darlow
Darlow, who has been described as 'outstanding', started the season as the number two goalkeeper at Elland Road, despite helping the team earn promotion up from the Championship last year. However, the 35-year-old has reclaimed his starting spot in recent months after Lucas Perri disappointed Daniel Farke with his early-season performances, and he hasn't looked back since, starting 16 Premier League games.

But the veteran goalkeeper is out of contract at the end of the season and there have been no signs of a renewal being on the cards, despite his strong performances. That has got Spurs looking at a potential move to sign the experienced goalkeeper this summer to bolster their own department, with at least one goalkeeper expected to be brought in during the transfer window. Kinsky could leave on loan to play more regularly elsewhere, while Vicario has been linked with a move to Inter Milan.
Darlow Could Be Shrewd Signing
With Kinsky and Vicario looking more likely to leave Tottenham than stay this summer, regardless of what division they are playing in, a move for an experienced shot-stopper who has played in both leagues and is playing regularly could be perfect. It's unlikely that Darlow would be brought in to be the first-choice goalkeeper, but having him in the squad would give the manager the option to use him if needed without having to worry, considering how he has performed this season. On a free transfer too, it would be shrewd business by Spurs, who will have plenty of holes to fill in their squad this summer, leaving them some spare cash to spend elsewhere.
