Tottenham Hotspur have been officially contacted by intermediaries over a summer deal to sign FK Bodo/Glimt striker Kasper Hogh, according to SportsBoom.

Spurs are currently in a battle to decide which division they will be playing in next season, after dropping to within five points of the Premier League relegation zone.

The final spot is occupied by West Ham United, who beat their London rivals at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last month, and have hit form in recent weeks.

The north Londoners meanwhile, are without a league victory in 2026 and have won just two of their previous 17 Premier League matches, which led to the dismissal of Thomas Frank.

Under the leadership of interim manager Igor Tudor, Spurs now face a daunting fixture against arch-rivals and leaders Arsenal this Sunday as they look to get points on the board.

Having been heavily linked with a move to Championship side Norwich City and Old Firm duo Celtic and Rangers in the January transfer window with SportsBoom claiming €8-9m offers were rejected.

Now Hogh is now said to be attracting interest from bigger European clubs due to his goalscoring exploits with Bodo/Glimt, for whom he has scored 43 goals in 83 matches, and they face an even bigger battle to keep their prized asset beyond this season.

The 25-year-old shot to prominence with a brace in the Norwegian club's penultimate Champions League group match with Manchester City, before scoring the winning goal in their 2-1 victory against Atletico Madrid in their final one, which saw them reach a two-legged playoff tie against Inter Milan.

The Tottenham hierarchy have officially received a proposal to sign Hogh, but while they are monitoring him as a cheaper 'Plan B' option, the Dane is not seen as a primary target.

Spurs Need Better - If They Remain in Premier League

Of course, if Tottenham did suffer an unthinkable relegation to the Championship then Hogh could be a great option for them, but despite his impressive performances in Europe it would be difficult to back him as the goalscoring saviour the north London club needs should they remain in the Premier League.

The fact that Norwich, the Old Firm clubs, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Southampton Wolfsburg and Union Berlin are among the clubs looking at the 25-year-old suggests Spurs should be aiming higher, as they appear to be doing.

While the next stop for Hogh could be a major European league, his raised price tag of €15-18m means he is one that Tottenham avoid, as things stand.
