Yves Bissouma is nearing the end of his time at Tottenham, and interest in the experienced midfielder is growing across Europe.
Sources close to the player’s situation have informed TheBoyHotspur that Bissouma had a “fallout” with manager Thomas Frank, especially after being left out of the UEFA Super Cup Final squad due to repeated lateness.
Spurs want the midfielder gone
Frank openly criticised Bissouma for breaking internal rules, and the club now seems ready to move him on.
Sources have indicated that Tottenham have now officially placed Bissouma on the transfer list after signing Joao Palhinha on loan from Bayern Munich. With his contract expiring next summer, the club is expected to be flexible in negotiations.
Yves Bissouma is a player in demand
Juventus are among the frontrunners. The Turin side is preparing for a possible departure of Douglas Luiz and sees Bissouma as a good fit. While they consider Tottenham’s asking price too high, they plan to wait until the final days of the window to negotiate. His salary and age profile are seen as reasonable by Juventus staff.
West Ham are also in the mix. The London club is preparing an official offer and looking for a midfielder who can compete with the likes of Alvarez, Soucek, and Ward-Prowse. Bissouma’s desire to stay in London makes West Ham an attractive option.
Fenerbahçe stand out as one of the few clubs that can offer Bissouma a guaranteed starting role. The Turkish side are expected to make contact with Tottenham soon. His profile fits well with the demands of the Süper Lig, and Fenerbahçe are pushing hard to secure the deal.
Roma have also entered the race. The Italian club is looking to add depth in the midfield and sees Bissouma as a cost-effective solution.
