The Premier League Player of the Week award has gone to a Tottenham Hotspur player for the second week in a row after the Lilywhites emerged with a 2-0 win from the Etihad Stadium.
There have been a lot of positives to take for Spurs at the start of the Thomas Frank era, with the North Londoners beginning their Premier League campaign with two wins and two clean sheets.
While the 3-0 win over Burnley was written off by some due to the fact that they came against a newly promoted side, Spurs showed that they mean business by emerging with a comfortable win from Manchester.

It was Richarlison who won the Player of the Week award in matchweek one after his outstanding brace against the Clarets.
The award has once again gone to a Spurs player for the second week running, with Joao Palhinha being voted the Player of the Week in matchweek two.
The Portuguese midfielder proved an impenetrable wall in front of the Tottenham back four, and he netted his first goal for the Lilywhites at the end of the first half after Spurs latched onto a poor pass by Man City goalkeeper James Trafford.

After the win over City, Thomas Frank admitted that the clean sheet pleased him most, revealing that he has talked a lot to the Spurs players about the importance of not conceding.
