The ‘You could not make it up file’ at Spurs is getting pretty full. After decades of discontent bubbling away in the Tottenham dressing room, it has now been confirmed that the players have decided to mount a defence against the critics. The Telegraph understands that the leadership team at the N17 side are plotting to let fans know how they feel about being booed.
The Spurs players are adopting a new convention where they gather together in the centre circle at the end of the first half and leave the pitch together. It is believed they feel it demonstrates their solidarity, regardless of the atmosphere inside the stadium.
Additionally, the Spurs players do not walk around the pitch at the end of the game applauding the support, as is the custom at some clubs.
This has been greeted sympathetically by THFC, with Matt Law saying; Insiders believe it would be more damaging if such an obvious issue was being ignored.
As per this piece, the Tottenham dressing room appears to be having one of its regular meltdowns.
One possible way to address the discord
Perhaps instead of indulging the player’s every whim, someone might remind them that they are with us for a reason, and they are expected to take the rough with the smooth.
There seems not to have been a single coach in the last few decades who hasn’t spent their time trying to make the lives of these pampered princesses easier.
Vicario’s reaction is absolutely disgraceful, he doesn’t even bother sprinting back…pic.twitter.com/0UGFfWwi7Q

Vicario, for example, has been courting a reality break for weeks, with an endless stream of representing the players, when he’s been leaking goals like a schoolboy. The error against Fulham was far more than a simple error.
This action by the Italian wasn’t simply unfortunate; it was plain stupid.
