Tottenham Hotspur travel to Elland Road on Saturday lunchtime, looking to extend their winning run to four matches when they take on Leeds United.

Spurs have enjoyed an upturn in form, winning three Premier League matches in a row and keeping clean sheets in their last two.

Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi is starting to get his ideas across after a difficult start in North London.

However, Leeds will provide a stern test, with the home crowd expected to create a hostile atmosphere.

Match preview

De Zerbi challenged his Spurs players to maintain their recent improvement when they travel for this important test of their character.

He believes Tottenham are developing a stronger collective identity, with the togetherness in the dressing room making a difference in their performances.

Spurs have certainly looked more convincing in recent weeks.

Their 3-1 victory over Coventry City was followed by an impressive 2-0 win at Chelsea before they edged past Crystal Palace last weekend.

However, Spurs will be wary of Leeds' intensity, particularly at Elland Road.

Daniel Farke's side have struggled for consistency recently, going five league matches without a win after an encouraging start to the campaign.

Leeds have drawn with Crystal Palace, Manchester United and Sunderland.

Meanwhile, defeats against Arsenal and Bournemouth have seen them slip to 12th in the standings.

Nevertheless, Leeds have been difficult to beat at home. They are unbeaten in their last eight Premier League matches at Elland Road.

De Zerbi has acknowledged the challenge, describing the atmosphere and intensity at the stadium as particularly difficult for visiting teams.

However, Tottenham have enjoyed considerable success against Leeds in recent years and will fancy their chances of extending their winning streak.

Match stats

Tottenham have won four of their last five Premier League visits to Elland Road, including each of their last three.

Leeds have collected just five points from their last 13 Premier League meetings with Spurs, losing 10 times.

The Whites have also failed to keep a clean sheet in their last 16 meetings with Tottenham.

Leeds are currently 12th in the Premier League table, one point behind ninth-placed Tottenham.

Farke's side are winless in five league matches, while Spurs have won their last three.

Tottenham team news

De Zerbi has confirmed that Rodrigo Bentancur and Tosin Adarabioyo are available again for Saturday's encounter.

Bentancur, 'a towering presence' in midfield, could replace Mateus Fernandes.

However, Lucas Bergvall, Mykhailo Mudryk and Savio remain unavailable, alongside long-term absentees Wilson Odobert and Xavi Simons.

De Zerbi must also decide whether to keep Dominic Solanke or Omar Marmoush at centre-forward.

James Maddison could return to the starting XI, potentially replacing Marmoush, 27, the less effective attacker.

Tottenham predicted XI (4-2-3-1)

Antonin Kinsky; Pedro Porro, Jan Paul van Hecke, Micky van de Ven, Andy Robertson; Sandro Tonali, Rodrigo Bentancur; Mohammed Kudus, James Maddison, Mathys Tel; Dominic Solanke.
