Tottenham Hotspur decision-makers could make a U-turn on the future of goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky in the summer, according to TEAMtalk.
Tottenham finally picked up their first Premier League win of 2026 against already-relegated Wolverhampton Wanderers last Saturday, and it was a good job they did with Nottingham Forest and West Ham United also winning.
Forest must feel like they are closing in on survival after their 5-0 thrashing of Sunderland at the Stadium of Light has left them on 39 points and five points clear of Spurs in 18th position.
With four games to go though, there may be some anxiety that even 40 might not be enough to guarantee survival if the north Londoners and West Ham maintain their form.
The Irons beat David Moyes' Everton to move onto 36 points, and they face top-six hopefuls Brentford away before hosting title-chasing Arsenal at the London Stadium in the following game.
Roberto De Zerbi's Tottenham face a tough-looking trip to Aston Villa at the weekend, before they host Leeds United in a must-win game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on May 11.
Inter Milan Win Race to Sign Guglielmo Vicario
According to TEAMtalk, Inter Milan have won the race to sign Tottenham Hotspur's number one Guglielmo Vicario after the north Londoners decided in January that he would be sold this summer.
The Serie A giants have agreed terms with the Italy international over a return to his homeland, but now they need to agree a fee with Spurs too.
Vicario is yet to play a match or De Zerbi as he continues his recovery from surgery on his hernia, performed prior to the last international break in March.
Tottenham are already assessing their goalkeeping options for the 2026-27 campaign, but it will depend on which division they find themselves in next term.
Tottenham Ready to Perform Kinsky U-Turn
The report adds that should Tottenham end up dropping into the Championship, they would likely keep faith with Kinsky between the sticks.
The Ukraine international has responded well after his Champions League nightmare against Atletico Madrid, with De Zerbi impressed with what he has seen from the 23-year-old.
His display against Diego Simeone's men does raise some long-term worries though which are clearly shared by the club, who would pursue a high-profile replacement for Vicario should they preserve their Premier League status.
The report claims that Brighton and Hove Albion's Bart Verbruggen and Manchester City's James Trafford are two leading names on their shortlist, with De Zerbi being Seagulls manager when the former made his move to the south coast.
What is clear is that Tottenham chiefs are preparing for a big summer of change, no matter how their season ends, as they look to improve their fortunes and back De Zerbi with the signings he wants to lead the club back to where they feel they belong.
