Tottenham Hotspur are targeting a move for another big-money attacker despite deciding on Manchester City winger Savinho as their top transfer target.

After transforming the defence and midfield with half-a-dozen new signings, Tottenham attentions have now turned to boosting Roberto De Zerbi's frontline as the club look to replicate what Manchester United did last season when they had no European football to distract them.

The Red Devils went from finishing 15th in the 2024-25 season to third last term, with their players only facing 40 matches in all competitions, having been knocked out of the FA Cup and Carabao Cup at the first hurdle.

Spurs have the opportunity to replicate it, but De Zerbi will know he needs a stronger squad to have any chance of achieving that target, with the attack next on his agenda. Manchester City winger Savinho before the Italian's appointment at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but he has seemingly given the green light to the signature of the Brazilian, who came close to a move to north London last summer. Now, club chiefs must work to find an agreement on a fee that they were unable to do 12 months ago, but even if a deal goes through for the 23-year-old, he won't be the last attacking addition before the September 1 deadline.

Tottenham Want Junior Kroupi and Savinho

Tottenham have also been heavily linked with Bournemouth sensation Eli Junior Kroupi in recent weeks, following an outstanding breakthrough campaign for the young French forward. However, if there were any doubts about Spurs' ability to sign both Savinho and Junior Kroupi in this window, they have been put to bed by a top club source on X. Even if the north Londoners do advance and finalise a move for Savinho, they will also continue to target a move for the 'world-class' 20-year-old Cherries forward. The £100m-rated French striker is being monitored by many top clubs across Europe after scoring 13 goals in 33 Premier League appearances for the south coast club in his debut season.

Tottenham Now Considering 'Strange' Sale of Star

With so many incomings, it wouldn't be a surprise to see some unexpected player departures from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium before September 1.

Some key first-team players like Guglielmo Vicario and Cristian Romero look destined to go after the summer business Spurs have done in their positions, the interest in them and their desire to leave.

However, we could also see some players who are not so desperate to go depart the club too, including Djed Spence.

With potential World Cup winner Pedro Porro in the right-back spot and new signing Robertson on the left, it remains to be seen if the England international will be a starter for Tottenham next season.
