A French club have reportedly already begun negotiating with Tottenham’s Manor Solomon, who is expected to be on his way out of Hotspur Way this summer, and this development is making Leeds United nervous.
Some eyebrows were raised last summer when Manor Solomon decided to drop down to the Championship by making a loan move to Leeds.
However, the move worked out perfectly for the 25-year-old, who has not only put his injury woes behind him but has also shown his effectiveness in the final third, with 10 goals and 12 assists in all competitions to his name this term.
Over recent weeks, reports have indicated that Leeds are now working on a deal to sign Solomon permanently ahead of their return to the top-flight, but it has now emerged that Daniel Farke’s men will face competition for the Spurs man.
Marseille want to sign Manor Solomon from Tottenham
According to a report in Team Football, Marseille have become the latest club to enter the race for the Tottenham winger.
The report reveals that the Israeli international is not in Tottenham Hotspur’s plans, and the Ligue 1 side has already started ‘concrete negotiations’ with the player’s entourage.
His profile is seen as a perfect fit for Roberto de Zerbi’s system, with the Italian manager identifying Solomon as the ideal replacement for Luis Henrique, who is expected to join Inter Milan this summer.
