Tottenham Hotspur winger Manor Solomon is currently stranded in Israel after conflict broke out between his country and Iran, and the North London club have been in contact with the winger.

Many Tottenham players will be looking to catch Thomas Frank’s eye in pre-season as the Dane looks to assess which members of the squad could be part of his project.

One of those is Solomon, who appeared to have put his injury woes behind him and impressed on loan at Leeds United last season.

However, the 25-year-old has a more pressing immediate problem: he is not able to fly out of Israel amidst the ongoing conflict.

Tottenham’s Manor Solomon is stranded in Israel

The Telegraph reveals that the winger flew to return to his home country to marry his long-term partner, Dana Voshina, last week.

However, a conflict broke out between his nation and Iran, with the two countries trading deadly strikes, and Israel’s airspace was closed as a result.

Solomon is thus unable to fly out of his country, with a source close to the Tottenham Hotspur man stating that they hope for better news at the end of this week.
