Dominic Solanke will be the main source of Tottenham goals between now and the end of the season, but reinforcements might be forthcoming next season.

First, Spurs must try to win a Premier League game for the first time in 2026 tonight against Crystal Palace, but it would appear plans are in place behind the scenes.

Who would be your preferred starting striker at Tottenham? 🫣

We've fallen a long way since the days of Harry Kane…

Tottenham’s recruitment in the summer left a lot to be desired, with the January window hardly proving any more fruitful for the North Londoners.

It would seem as though Spurs have every intention of surviving the drop and then entering the market in the summer with news of a striker link now emerging.

Tottenham want Jonathan David

According to Team Talk, David is on the shortlist of Tottenham, Leeds, Manchester United and Aston Villa during the summer transfer window.

David’s move to Juventus hasn’t quite gone according to plan, with just seven goals coming from his 37 appearances for the Old Lady.

The striker hasn’t always been considered a first-choice striker in Serie A, and it would appear that his next port of call could see him rock up in England.

MORE SPURS STORIES

Tottenham currently have Richarlison and Dominic Solanke within their ranks at the moment to play as the lead striker.

However, it would seem as though David is being targeted as a new option for next season should Tottenham ensure Premier League survival.

David shoots more than Dominic Solanke

Who Scored claims that this season alone, David shoots on goal more often than Solanke and that does bode well for Tottenham.

Getting shots away and being clinical have been issues for Tottenham this season, and signing a player who should help in that sense would be ideal.

At 26-years-old, David has a lot of experience in France and Italy, and perhaps crucially, he’d arrive with his best years about to commence.

Solanke hasn’t been able to stay fit for a prolonged period since he came to Tottenham and with that in mind, it’s no surprise to see a new striker targeted.
