Tottenham Hotspur have even more competition to deal with for Harry Kane’s signature, as another Premier League giant is now turning their attention towards the Bayern Munich striker.

Since it became public earlier this month that Kane can leave Bayern Munich for £57m next summer as per a clause in his contract, the speculation over the striker’s future has intensified.

Thomas Frank has confirmed that Tottenham would be interested in re-signing Kane next summer if he wanted to return.

It has been reported by a number of sources over recent days that Spurs would face competition from Chelsea and Barcelona for Kane, and it has now emerged that another Premier League side are ready to enter the race.

Man United want to sign Tottenham legend Harry Kane

The Daily Star have now said that the Bayern Munich striker is eager to return to the Premier League following the 2026 World Cup.

The outlet says that the 32-year-old wants to break Alan Shearer’s Premier League goal record of 260 goals, which he trails by 47 goals at the moment.

They say that Kane’s potential availability has alerted Man United, who want to take the striker to Old Trafford.

MORE SPURS STORIES

Despite Ruben Amorim’s men revamping their forward line with the signings of Benjamin Sesko, Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha, the outlet says that the Red Devils may not want to pass up on an opportunity to sign the former Tottenham man.

Tottenham hold an advantage in the race for Kane

Tottenham added a first refusal clause when they sold Kane to Bayern back in 2023, which means that the striker will be offered to the Lilywhites first if he does decide to leave the German giants.

Additionally, it has emerged that Kane and his family have a great relationship with Vivienne Lewis, Joe Lewis’ daughter, who is now calling the shots at the North London club following the exit of Daniel Levy.
